MHERV HEALTH VAN AT BUNNINGS BELLAMBI
A very success visit by the MHERV to Corrimal Rotary, at Bunnings Bellambi.
Over two very successful days the nurse, Jennifer, saw 90 people. 43 on Saturday and 47 on Monday. Of those 15 were referred to their GP’s asap. These were potentially saving referrals. Jennifer worked tirelessly over the two days with only a minimal break on each. The average patients per day from other venues is about 24!
Our Polio Bear EUCI stopped by for a visit.
A huge vote of thanks should go out to those who worked in the organisation of this event and those who gave their time over the two days to make them the huge success they were.
I’m sure that the efforts of those in the BBQ on Saturday contributed in no small measure to this success. Referrals from there were many and the attraction value of the BBQ cannot be underestimated. On Monday the staff at the MHERV were continually asked where the BBQ was.
This has firmly stamped Corrimal Rotary in the MHERV calendar and we look forward to future visits.
